You may want to remove some of the document links from a
location in the project. For example, if your destination folder contains some
documents that are unrelated to this project, you might want to remove the
links to those documents, to make it easier to focus on the files relevant to
this project.
You can also remove locations from a project if they are no longer
needed.
Exclude an Item from a Location
- Open your project in the
ProjectWise browser.
- Expand the location
containing the document link you want to remove.
- Right-click the document
link and select
Exclude item.
- When prompted,
click
Yes to confirm.
The link is removed from the location.
Note: Items that you
exclude will be added back to the location the next time you synchronize the
location.
Exclude a Location from a Project
- Open your project in the
ProjectWise browser.
- Right-click the location
you want to remove and select
Exclude Location.
The location is removed from the project.
